This paper is a look at how the leading character in the book “The Godfather” goes from a life against the world of crime to ultimately the Don of the mafia family.
“The Godfather tells the story of the Corleone family, a leading crime family in the mafia underworld of New York. Led by the aging Don Vito Corleone or “Godfather” as most people know him, the family handles the illegal gambling ring of New York as well as many personal issues of the “friends” of the Don. The novel opens up in Don Corleone’s office on the day of his daughter Connie’s wedding. ”
